Welsh Beatbox Championships 2018

WELSH BEATBOX CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018
On Sunday 23rd of September @ Gwdihw, Beatboxers from all over Wales will battle it out to become The Welsh Beatbox Champion 2018 in the main solos, loop station, tag teams and under 18's categories!

The event is £7 entry (18+ from 7:30pm onwards - PLEASE BRING ID)


To enter..
* record a video of yourself Beatboxing (unedited) and upload to YouTube.com of roughly 2 minutes for the main solos, tag team and under 18's and roughly 3 minutes for the loop station battles
* send an e-mail to CardiffBeatboxBattles@gmail.com with the following details:
* Your Birth name, Beatbox/Stage name, mobile phone number, Age, Town/City you currently reside in and the link to your entry video

- Entries close midnight on Sunday 9th of September, those qualified will recieve e-mails shortly after

JUDGING CRITERIA:
All Battles will be judged by our panel based on ‘THE TOMB’
* TECHNICALITY
* ORIGINALITY
* MUSICALITY
* BATTLE PROWESS/ SHOWSHIP

RULES/GUIDELINES:
• Competitors have to be Welsh or resident in Wales for at least 1 year.
* winner of coin toss decies who goes first in the battles
• Entries close Sunday Septmeber 2nd. Late entries may be excepted.
• Aggressive/dangerous body contact will lead to automatic disqualification.
• The Judges decision is final.
• Participants will need to be alert and near the stage area at the beginning of the proceedings. Not coming to the stage after your name is being called numerous times may lead to disqualification.
• On the day, you will be required to sign a lease form allowing the footage to be put our You Tube Channel 'Beatbox Wales'
* World Qualification is only for the main solos, tag team and loop station categories (not for the under 18's unfortunately)


Car Parking: The nearest and cheapest car parks we recommend for security are at the St David’s 2 shopping center or Pellet St Car Park. If you’re bringing a van, check on Parkopedia as it has details on the height allowance at most car parks in Cardiff.
